At Zukunft Personal Europe 2026, GFOS will present its new release, GFOS 2026. The focus is on three new features that have one thing in common: they simplify customers’ day-to-day work and speed up processes. With new AI and HR analytics features in GFOS Intelligence, employee scheduling becomes more proactive; GFOS EasyInterface enables easy access to GFOS data for Excel and BI tools; and the AI assistant Atlas introduces a new, intuitive way to interact with the software.
Using the software instead of navigating through menus: Atlas makes it easier
With Atlas, users can enter their requests directly in natural language. The HR chatbot Atlas has already been helping users quickly evaluate information and answer questions related to workforce management. What’s new is that users can now also execute processes directly from within the dialogue.
This allows tasks such as “I’d like to request vacation from November 15–20, 2026” or “Approve the vacation request” to be initiated directly. Users no longer have to search for the relevant functions or navigate through menus and forms. This reduces the number of steps required and makes using the software even more intuitive—another step toward integrating Agentic AI directly into the GFOS platform.
This also reduces the time and effort required for training and onboarding: Users spend less time familiarizing themselves with menu structures and navigating through various functions. Instead, they can formulate their requests in their own words. This makes it easier for new or occasional users in particular to get started and leads to greater efficiency and independence in their daily use of the software.
Using Data Instead of Launching IT Projects: GFOS EasyInterface
GFOS EasyInterface makes accessing GFOS data easier and more flexible. The feature supports the OData standard and enables companies to use their data directly in Microsoft Excel or business intelligence tools and to prepare it for custom analyses and reports.
Both IT and business departments benefit from this: Users can independently access the data they need to address their specific questions, while IT is relieved of recurring requests for custom data provision. This ensures that relevant information reaches where it’s needed for analysis and decision-making more quickly—without the need for an additional IT project.
Identify Bottlenecks Before They Become a Problem: GFOS Intelligence
With the new HR analytics and AI features of GFOS Intelligence, employee scheduling shifts from a reactive to a proactive task. The solution helps managers identify trends early on, assess risks, and make informed decisions based on up-to-date data.
For example, impending staffing shortages, rising absenteeism, or skill gaps can be identified in advance. At the same time, the impact of planned shift or assignment changes can be better assessed. This provides greater planning certainty and helps companies deploy their workforce more effectively and cost-efficiently.
Three innovations, one goal: making work easier
With GFOS 2026, GFOS combines different technological approaches with a common goal: to simplify customers’ day-to-day work and free up time for their core tasks. Whether it’s operating the software, utilizing company data, or planning staff assignments—the new features are designed to specifically reduce users’ workload and help them access the information and results they need more quickly.
“Expectations for modern software have changed fundamentally. People want to find information instantly, trigger processes directly, and use data flexibly. GFOS 2026 addresses exactly that. With intelligent planning, open data access, and AI-powered interaction, we’re making a tangible difference in day-to-day work, because in the future, people will control business processes using natural language. This is a fundamental paradigm shift,” says Katharina Van Meenen-Röhrig, CEO of GFOS.
These three innovations are part of the ongoing development of the GFOS platform. GFOS combines artificial intelligence, analytics, and open data structures with existing workforce management functions. The goal is software that is not only powerful but also adapts to the demands of an increasingly dynamic workday.
Visitors can experience the new features firsthand at Zukunft Personal Europe 2026, taking place September 15–17, 2026. At the GFOS booth (L.52) in Hall 4.2, the company will demonstrate how the new generation of workforce management simplifies daily work through intelligent planning, flexible data access, and more intuitive software operation.
