The GFOS User Group brings together selected customers from various industries who work with the HR tech company's solutions. In workshops, roundtables, and digital formats, users exchange ideas with experts from product management, development, consulting, and sales on current challenges and future topics in the areas of workforce management, smart manufacturing, and access control. These include flexible working time models, personnel resource planning, increasing the efficiency of workflows, digitizing manufacturing processes, and secure access and authorization concepts for companies.

During the first meeting, two thematic user groups emerged: one focusing on workforce management and the other on smart manufacturing. Both groups address specific issues and use cases from practice, thus enabling an even more targeted exchange. Two chairs were elected from among the participating customers for each user group to accompany the content-related work and actively shape the dialogue between users and GFOS. In the Workforce Management Group, these are Sabrina Zastrau (Nowega GmbH) and Wadie Abdalla (Bauhaus AG), and in the Smart Manufacturing Group, Kevin Suchanek and Uwe Lichtenheld (both Rennsteig Werkzeuge GmbH).

“The digitization and optimization of workflows is a key success factor today - whether in HR, production, or secure access to company areas - especially against the backdrop of a shortage of skilled workers, increasing complexity, and growing regulatory requirements,” says Katharina Van Meenen-Röhrig, CEO of GFOS mbH. “With the user group, we are creating a platform where our customers can share their requirements, best practices, and experiences and actively participate in the further development of our solutions.”

“The great added value of the user group lies in the exchange with other GFOS customers who are facing very similar issues,” says Sabrina Zastrau, co-chair of the Workforce Management user group. “The thematic focus allows us to openly discuss specific challenges, learn from each other, and leverage synergies. At the same time, direct dialogue with GFOS is an important lever for jointly developing practical requirements.”

Members of the user group receive exclusive insights into product roadmaps, early access to new features, and the opportunity to provide feedback directly into development processes. At the same time, the format promotes cross-industry exchange between users, decision-makers, and experts from HR, production, and IT.

The first session of the GFOS User Group took place on February 4. Further meetings are planned on a regular basis. The user group is open to other GFOS customers who are interested in professional exchange and actively helping to shape solutions.
