The Board of Directors of GFOS supports the management as an independent and experienced body in key issues of corporate strategy, organization and future orientation.

It consists of five individuals with proven expertise in technology, corporate management and digitalization. It is headed by Thomas Volk as Chairman - an internationally experienced manager with a deep understanding of transformation and growth in the IT sector. Another member is Timo Müller.

With entrepreneurial vision, an external view of the market environment and as a sparring partner at eye level, the Board of Directors makes a significant contribution to the sustainable development of GFOS.

Thomas Volk

Thomas Volk is an internationally experienced CEO and Chairman of the Supervisory Board with extensive management experience in the software and technology industry. He has successfully led numerous global companies - including listed corporations and private equity-financed companies - through phases of transformation, restructuring and digital realignment. His focus areas include building customer-centric sales organizations and introducing SaaS and cloud-based business models.
During his career, he has been CEO of IDS Scheer and CANCOM, CEO of Lumesse, a member of the Sybase Management Board and Vice President Worldwide Sales at Hewlett-Packard. His current mandates include supervisory and advisory board functions at Comarch, GFOS and CCS connects. Thomas Volk has many years of experience in the implementation of international M&A projects and the strategic development of companies in high-growth markets.

Timo Müller

Timo is Managing Director of pqX, a boutique software advisory firm. He is one of Europe's leading experts when it comes to the commercial scaling and monetization of software products. In his career as a management consultant, Timo has supported 120 clients on all aspects of these issues.
In addition to his traditional work as an advisor, Timo actively invests in start-ups and software companies. As an expert in software pricing, he gives presentations for corporate clients and at events.
Before founding pqX, Timo was a partner at Axel Springer hy, a member of the management team at Stepstone Europe and a management consultant at Simon-Kucher and Partners.
